How to crochet the Granny Stripe — step by step
Foundation: chain a multiple of 3 + 2 (long chain for a blanket).
Row 1: ch 3, 2 dc in the 4th chain from hook, *skip 2 chains, 3 dc in the next*; repeat to the end; turn.
Row 2: ch 3, *3 dc in the space between the next two clusters*; repeat across, ending with a dc in the top of the turning chain; turn.
Change colour every row or two for the classic stripe. The clusters stagger automatically.
