How to crochet the Linen Stitch — step by step
Foundation: chain an even number. Row 1: sc in the 2nd chain from hook, *ch 1, skip 1 chain, sc in next*; repeat across; turn.
Row 2: ch 1, sc in the first sc, *ch 1, skip the next sc, sc into the ch-1 space*; repeat, ending with sc in the last stitch; turn.
Every row, the single crochets land in the chain spaces of the row below — offset like bricks.
